Second Season of The Fabulous Show with Fay and Fluffy gets Greenlight

WildBrain Television has greenlit production on more fabulous fun with season two of the beloved preschool series, The Fabulous Show with Fay and Fluffy. Created and produced by Lopii Productions for kids aged 3-6 and their families, the new season is scheduled to deliver in summer 2024. The series is produced with the financial participation of the Canadian Media Fund Pilot Program for Racialized Communities, as well as the Shaw Rocket Fund. Seasons one and two of The Fabulous Show with Fay and Fluffy are distributed by Sinking Ship Entertainment.

Winner of the 2023 Shaw Rocket Fund Kids’ Choice Award, The Fabulous Show with Fay and Fluffy sashayed its way into the hearts of preschoolers and their families all across Canada, quickly becoming one of the most popular shows on WildBrain Television’s Family Jr. With their big, colourful wigs and dazzling fashion, dynamic drag duo Fay (JP Kane) and Fluffy (Kaleb Robertson) are on a mission to spread joy, be fabulous, and, of course, “read the house down”. Each episode of the show is jam-packed with books, laughter, puppet friends, guests and good times.

Season two (26 x 11) promises to be even more fabulous, more inclusive and more fun for the whole family, as Fay and Fluffy continue to foster a love of reading and encourage kindness and empathy through songs, stories and silliness. Bringing back beloved guests as well as new friends, the new season will encourage kids to share their thoughts and feelings, engage with books, to be kind and to be their best selves.

Katie Wilson, VP, Channels and Global Acquisitions at WildBrain, said: “It’s wonderful to see Canadian kids and families fully embracing such a fun and positive series—especially one that teaches important lessons like inclusion and kindness. Every episode of The Fabulous Show with Fay and Fluffy is bursting with joy and silliness, and we’re thrilled to bring another season for kids to love.”

Rennata and Georgina López, Executive Producers and founders of Lopii Productions, said: “This series is such a joy to produce, and we’re both delighted and honoured to do a second season. We hope to continue to inspire preschoolers by championing inclusivity while celebrating diversity, literacy and empathy.”

JP Kane and Kaleb Robertson said: “We had so much fun filming the first season and are thrilled to be returning for a second. This show has had an impact beyond our wildest dreams. We can’t wait to meet new kids, play with our puppet friends and read new books together!”
