Roblox Expands Team on Brand Partnerships

This includes three new hires on the Brand Partnerships team, such as John Love who joined Roblox as VP of business development, to help drive innovation on the platform, expand its massive user base and develop new revenue streams for Roblox and its global creator community. 

John Love, VP Business Development, Roblox

As VP of Business Development, John Love oversees Roblox’s strategic global platform, connected device, and app store partnerships. John and his team work closely with Roblox’s ecosystem partners to drive innovation on the platform, help expand its massive user base and develop new revenue streams for the company and its global creator community. Prior to Roblox, John served as VP of Interactive Experiences at Disney, building and launching innovative digital experiences to reach Disney fans in new ways worldwide, and he had also overseen apps and digital products for Disney Interactive. An accomplished product and technology executive with over 20 years of experience building and leading digital organizations and businesses, John co-founded two innovative companies, SpotMixer and One True Media, which simplified video creation for consumers and businesses. John holds an MBA with focus on Information Technology from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Lisa Willett, Group Director Auto, Travel, Financial Services, Roblox

As Group Director for Auto, Travel and Financial Services verticals at Roblox, Lisa and her team are focused on creating new opportunities for brands to reach new audiences, especially GenZ.  They are helping brands create and scale their presence on the platform–be it through immersive experiences and digital items, or Roblox’s growing Immersive Ads. With 25 years of experience in the media and tech industries, Lisa brings a visionary and strategic approach to creating and implementing performance and brand strategies, leveraging her expertise in digital strategy, advertising, social and streaming media. Prior to Roblox, Lisa led large Agency partnerships, Brand & Video Sales Strategy, Emerging Horizontals and Financial Services relationships at Meta. She had also previously served as VP of Digital Sales & Operations for the ABC Owned Stations and held other executive roles at The Walt Disney Company.

Allison McDuffee, Global Head of Brand Insights and Measurement, RobloxAs Global Head of Brand Insights and Measurement at Roblox, Allison McDuffee is building industry-leading measurement capabilities to support Roblox’s growing Immersive Ads business and provide actionable, data-driven insights for brands on the platform. Prior to Roblox, Allison led Insights and Measurement at Twitch and Amazon Ads to raise the profile of Twitch amongst the advertising industry. Prior to joining Twitch, Allison served in several leadership roles at NBCUniversal where she focused on providing client insights, campaign effectiveness measurement and thought leadership positioning for Sales and Client & Agency Partnerships, among other functions. Allison also held various Ad Sales Research & Trade Marketing roles at The Walt Disney Company where she supported teams across the US and EMEA.
