Jetpack Moves Into Licensing and Brand Management

Global kids and family content distributor, Jetpack Distribution has announced an exciting expansion of its company remit, to offer a global entertainment brand management service. This includes the development of licensing and merchandising plans for any of its library IP in development or production.

Jetpack now offers, not only worldwide content distribution, but ways to generate ancillary revenue through a variety of brand extensions and channels including: retail, toys, publishing, digital, gaming and events.

Jetpack has brought on board Stephen Toye Green as a strategic advisor to help develop the new division. A c-suite executive, with extensive experience building businesses in global entertainment.  Stephen has worked with ITV Studios, Hasbro, Corinthian Entertainment, Galleon Holdings, Chorion and more.

He is an expert in multi-platform IP development, including global ancillary rights exploitation, content production and distribution in the kids and family sector.

Jetpack can now provide creative input into series in development and production, to maximise licensing and publishing success. And can offer a brand plan, financial model and value assessment for each IP to determine its growth path. Jetpack will then work with each IP owner to implement that plan.

CEO, Dominic Gardiner, says: “This is a boutique service for each IP owner and creator, and will be individually tailored to the different needs of each brand, also depending on where it is in its life cycle. Stephen has an incredible depth of knowledge and a wealth of experience to help shape this exciting new transition. As always, we are committed to partnering with creators and helping them grow.”

Stephen Toye Green says: “Jetpack helps producers realise the potential of their shows through distributing them globally. This is a strategic relationship, so offering brand management is a natural progression. Partners can maximise the ancillary revenue potential of their TV shows and become a bigger entertainment brand.”
