Solé Bicycles Partners with Van Gogh Museum

Solé Bicycles, a prominent Venice Beach lifestyle bicycle brand, announces a limited-edition bicycle collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum, the Solé Bicycles x Van Gogh Museum Almond Blossom Bicycle. In a deal brokered by IMG, the exclusive line of single-speed bicycles is adorned with Van Gogh’s vibrant “Almond Blossom” painting — a partnership that brings together iconic symbols of freedom, movement, and the appreciation of nature. The collaboration will be available beginning May 15, exclusively at www.solebicycles.com and their Los Angeles retail shops.

Inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s “Almond Blossom” painting, Solé Bicycles incorporated the beautiful imagery onto its bikes, capturing the essence of Van Gogh’s love for the natural world and his desire to capture its beauty through his art.

“We’re excited to partner with Van Gogh Museum and share this collaboration that celebrates the connection between art and movement,” said Jimmy Standley, CEO of Solé Bicycles. “We hope this inspires people to experience every ride as a journey into the vibrant world of Van Gogh’s iconic painting and enjoy the beauty of nature, both on and off the bike.”

The collaboration embodies a blend of Dutch artistry and Californian lifestyle, and features a hydro drip graphic adaptation of Vincent van Gogh’s renowned Almond Blossom painting, which has been water transferred onto a Solé Bicycle Hi Tensile Steel frame.

“We are very excited about the launch of the collaboration with Solé Bicycles. Vincent van Gogh was full of curiosity and found his inspiration by traveling and exploring new destinations.” said Marijn Veraart, Head of Licensing at the Van Gogh Museum. “Together with Solé Bicycles, we can translate Vincent’s art and inspiration into a unique product that encourages people to explore, embark on new journeys, and discover the world.”

Cycling through art, the “Almond Blossom” painting, a gift for Van Gogh’s newborn nephew, symbolizes new beginnings, much like the feeling of freedom and adventure that a bicycle can provide. Just as Van Gogh’s paintings often showcase rural landscapes and the serenity of the outdoors, Solé Bicycles provides a platform for cyclists to experience the joy of exploring new places and the beauty of nature firsthand. The bicycle, much like Van Gogh’s brushstrokes, allows one to move through the world with ease, taking in all the sights and sounds along the way.
