HEAD Apparel in Multi-Category Deal with Jiang Yin Heilan Home International

The Austrian sport company HEAD Sport GmbH has signed a multi-year agreement with the Chinese Jiang Yin Heilan Home International company (part of the Heilan Group) to produce and market HEAD branded apparel, footwear and textile accessories. Furthermore, there is a plan to open HEAD monobrand stores in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan but also explore the wholesale and online / e-commerce channels with marketplace players like Tmall, etc.

Between 31st of December 2021 and mid-January three HEAD monobrand stores opened. The first store opened on 31st of December 2021 at Beijing Parkview Green FangCaoDi Shopping Mall. All stores – fully equipped HEAD sportswear stores – carry the three major lines – 1) high-end technology skiwear line of the brand, sourced partly from the HEAD Sportswear Division at the HQ. 2) The natural functional innovation line and 3) the urban leisure lifestyle collection. The next store, a pop-up location, opened 17th of January 2022 in Beijing, Xidan Joycity, will remain open until approx. 12th of February 2022. The third HEAD store opened on 21st of January at the Pegasus Watertown Mall in Jiangyin.

The plan is not only to open further HEAD stores in the near future and over the coming years, but also to concentrate on the brands’ other successful sports like racquet sport lines as well as general sportswear for running, fitness and yoga, including accessories.

The HEAD stores as well as the online and social media approach will help us to get to know the consumers in the region.”
