DACS collaborates with Dior for Summer 2023 collection

DACS, the Design and Artists Copyright Society, has collaborated with Dior and Charleston to license works of art by Bloomsbury Group artist Duncan Grant for its upcoming Summer 2023 menswear collection.

11 artworks licensed by DACS feature across a range of clothing, jewellery, and accessories. The detailed garments and the staging for the show are inspired by the artist Duncan Grant (1885-1978) and his home, studio and garden at Charleston and Christian Dior’s childhood home at Granville, Normandy.  Kim Jones, Dior Men’s artistic director has spoken of these two places as his most important influences.

Victoria Hooper, DACS Head of Licensing said: “DACS has 40 years of experience in collaborating with artists and leading brands to facilitate creative partnerships. We were delighted to be able to work with Charleston to achieve Dior’s creative vision by using Duncan Grant’s work in new imaginative ways.
