CAA Signs Jazwares’ Squishmallows

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has signed Squishmallows®, the globally successful line of plush characters and toys from Jazwares that have struck a chord with kids and adults alike. The agency will identify and create opportunities for Squishmallows across an array of areas, including film, television, video games, publishing, live touring, and beyond.

Since its launch in 2017, Squishmallows has grown from eight characters to more than 1,000, each with their own unique name and storyline. With over 86 million sold in 40 countries worldwide, Squishmallows has become a social media sensation, with more than 650,000 combined followers on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and three billion TikTok video views on #squishmallows tagged content.

Prior to signing on with CAA, Jazwares expanded the world of Squishmallows with the June 2021 launch of the YouTube animated series, Squishville. Produced by Moonbug Entertainment, new episodes of Squishville will release every Saturday through October 2021. The series is based on the line of Squishmallows-inspired collectible playsets and accessories, which was introduced at retail in March.
