Forbidden Planet and Rocky Horror Show announce new partnership 

Licensed merchandise from musical The Rocky Horror Show will be strutting into Forbidden Planet, the world’s largest and best-known science fiction, fantasy and cult entertainment retailer in Q2 2024. 

Fans of the show will be able to browse through a range of apparel, collectables, prints and gifts from Forbidden Planet’s own design team, as well a selection of products from the growing list of licensees launching ranges to celebrate this iconic cult brand’s 50th anniversary.  Newly appointed Head of Pop Culture at Forbidden Planet, Anthony Garnon said: “Fishnets at the ready! We’re beyond-excited to be working with the IP that inspired the biggest cult movie and longest running cinematic release of all time. As the home of pop culture, we know it will fit perfectly into DTR portfolio.”  Adam Bass, Director of Golden Goose, added “We saw enormous potential for Rocky Horror Show from the beginning so it’s thrilling to enter conversations with retailers and global brands about how best to collaborate with this original, diverse, inclusive, multi-generational IP.”  Forbidden Planet will be merchandising its own range alongside product from the thirty Rocky Horror Show licensees currently in place. The collection will be available in the UK at Forbidden Planet stores and worldwide at from Q2 2024.
