Enid Blyton’s The Magic Faraway Tree reimagined for licensing opportunities

Renowned Australian artist and designer Fleur Harris has been officially commissioned by Enid Blyton Entertainment to create a new body of artwork inspired by Enid Blyton’s cherished The Magic Faraway Tree stories.
Over the last 86 years The Magic Faraway Tree series has become an enduringly popular tale and international bestseller across the globe.
“Fleur Harris is the perfect partner for the Magic Faraway Tree,” said Sarah Lennon Galavan, Head of Licensing for Enid Blyton Entertainment. “Her art is filled with joy and childhood wonder, and her love for the Magic Faraway Tree shines through in every illustration. We’re hugely excited about the licensing programme she has lined up in Australia across multiple product categories and retailers.”
“The Magic Faraway Tree books were among my favourites as a child,” says Fleur Harris. “To be invited to reimagine these stories through my own artistic lens feels like stepping into the pages of a dream I’ve had since childhood. There’s a special kind of magic in these tales, and it’s been such a joy to interpret that wonder into artwork.”
The result is a comprehensive art series that includes intricate patterned repeats and detailed illustrations in Harris’ signature whimsical style. Designed with the art licensing market in mind, the style guide unlocks a world of potential for product development across a wide variety of categories – from homewares and apparel to stationery, toys, and beyond. The artwork is rich in nostalgia, wonder, and joy – intended to spark a deep emotional connection with those who grew up with the stories, as well as new generations discovering them for the first time.
This collaboration not only pays tribute to the 100-year-old legacy of Enid Blyton’s storytelling but also paves the way for innovative co-branded product collections across the globe. The partnership between Enid Blyton Entertainment and Fleur Harris is unique in that both parties are managing licensing collaborations directly – Harris leading the program in Australia and New Zealand, and Enid Blyton Entertainment managing the program in the UK and Europe.
Confirmed licensing deals in Australia include a quilting fabric collection exclusive to Spotlight (September 2025), a baby and childrenswear range with Fleur Harris apparel (Late 2025), a wallpaper collection with Milton & King (Early 2026), a children’s bedding collection with Adairs (Early 2026) and children’s potion kits with The Little Potion Co. (March 2026). Melbourne-based cult accessories brand, Erstwilder, is also developing a limited-run licensed collection set for release mid-2026.
Fleur Harris brings with her a wealth of experience in successful brand partnerships, having previously collaborated with brands such as Adairs Kids, David Jones, Godiva, and many more. Her expertise, combined with the enduring magic of The Magic Faraway Tree, positions this licensing program for truly unforgettable results.
This enchanting new chapter in The Magic Faraway Tree legacy is sure to captivate the imaginations of fans both young and old, transforming everyday products into portals of childhood wonder.
