Licensees Line Up for the Moomins

The Point.1888 signs four new licensees to add to the already robust Moomin Characters licensing programme.

Since being appointed as the UK agent for Moomin Characters, The Point.1888 has used their strategically informed, retail first brand extension model, to continue building out the licensing programme signing more than 30 licensees. The last few years have been incredibly exciting for the brand, from celebrating its 75th anniversary, to launching their ABC initiative, to now planning their 80 year anniversary which will be celebrated in 2025.

The love and appeal for Moomin has continued to grow, transcending generations, and offering fans and consumers a brand that is caring, approachable and environmentally minded. This is why retailers and licensees have been joining the licensing programme that covers a huge range of categories. The Point.1888 are thrilled to have recently added Blade & Rose (Infant Apparel), Licensed to Charm (Jewellery), Practical Publishing (Magazines) and Skinny Dip (Phone Accessories) to their fantastic line up of Moomin Licensees.

The retail first approach of The Point.1888 has seen Moomin expand their UK distribution to include retailers such as ASDA, HMV, John Lewis, Forbidden Planet and many more!
