Bing Heads to Millions of Further Viewers

Acamar Films has secured extended distribution for its hit pre-school series Bing as the independent producer and distributor signs renewal agreements with eight broadcasters and streaming services. These new partnerships will mean that Bing, a favourite series with young audiences across much of Europe, will continue to be available for millions of viewers.

Bing distribution partnerships have been renewed with: 

Italy – Bing will continue its presence on Pay TV through a renewal with DeAJunior on the Sky platform. The partnership will see seasons 1-3 of Bing continue to be available on the Italian service. Bing, initially launched on DeAJunior in March 2019, since then is positioned among the most successful properties on DeAJunior and, during 2023, the series achieved excellent ratings on the channel.

Poland – MiniMini renewed seasons 1-4 (104 episodes) of Bing for Pay TV. This agreement follows Bing’s outstanding performance and recent weekend marathons on the network. The Bing marathons were incredibly successful securing viewership 134% over the channel average on the weekend of the 15th and 16th of April. 

CEE – JimJam TV currently airs 15 episodes of Bing every day on Free TV across the CEE. This recent partnership extension renews seasons 1-3 in the region. This partnership will bring non-episodic content, such as short compilations of the various characters in Bing to the channel. This inclusion of additional Bing content is a first for any linear channel.

Czechia – Bing’s presence in Czechia continues to grow where affinity for Bing remains high at 85% (Brand Trends: April 2023)Free TV broadcaster, CT Decko, have renewed their agreement for seasons 1-3. 

Latvia – Two partners have extended their agreements for Bing for Latvian audiences. SVOD broadcaster LMT have renewed their agreement for seasons 1-2 and the addition of season three for the first time on the platform. Free TV broadcaster, LTV, have renewed their distribution partnership for seasons 1-3. This is the fourth licence term for these terms on LTV. 

Sweden – In Sweden, SVT Barn have signed a partnership renewal for seasons 1-4 on Free TV. Bing has an enthusiastic following in Sweden and the Swedish YouTube channel has one of the highest average view durations of the network of all international Bing channels. 

Australia – In addition to renewing partnerships across Europe, Acamar Films and ABC Kids (Free TV) have also agreed to continue their agreement to bring Bing to Australian audiences. Bing first launched on the channel in November 2014.
