
The emoji Brand and Shanghai Blood Center Join Forces

emoji® – The Iconic Brand – is working with the Shanghai Blood Center to launch two impactful public campaigns aimed at promoting voluntary blood donation. The initiative, made possible through emoji® brand´s licensing agent in mainland China, Medialink, brings fresh energy and creativity to a vital cause.
The collaboration began earlier this year with the opening of China’s first-ever emoji® brand-themed blood donation center in Shanghai’s Baoshan District. Designed to ease the anxiety often associated with donating blood, the center is filled with bright, uplifting emoji® brand visuals and characters that create a cheerful and inviting environment—particularly resonating with younger visitors and first-time donors.
To mark World Blood Donor Day on June 14, the partnership introduced a second initiative: a themed emoji® brand sticker pack celebrating blood donation. Unveiled at Shanghai’s iconic Oriental Pearl Tower, the 12 original designs are a tribute to compassion, care, and the generosity of donors. As the world’s first emoji® brand sticker collection centered on blood donation, the pack is a fun and meaningful tool to drive awareness and start conversations around the importance of giving blood.
These creative campaigns highlight how design and emotion can unite with public health efforts to drive real impact. By tapping into emoji® brand’s universal language and cultural relevance, the partnership aims to reshape the image of blood donation, making it more relatable, accessible, and inspiring—especially for younger generations.
