Actor Rob Delaney joins Hey Duggee Digital Series

BBC Studios digital brands and Studio AKA have announced that American actor, comedian and writer Rob Delaney along with other star guests will be joining the Hey Duggee Read-Along digital series on the official Hey Duggee YouTube channel, bringing to life many of the beloved Hey Duggee storybooks.

The recently launched Hey Duggee Read-Along series combines off-screen narration from well known talent giving fans a fresh way to experience some of their favourite Hey Duggee storybooks published by Ladybird, part of Penguin Random House Children’s UK.

Fans can watch and listen with Duggee, a big friendly dog and the leader of the Squirrels; Roly the hippopotamus, Norrie the mouse, Happy the crocodile, Tag the rhinoceros and Betty the octopus for adventures in the Clubhouse as they learn new skills and earn badges.  

American actor, comedian and writer Rob Delaney (Catastrophe and Deadpool 2 & 3) will be reading the iconic Duggee and the Stick Badge storybook and Anna Whitehouse, author and presenter (Mother PukkaWhere’s My Happy Ending) will also be reading First Day at Squirrel Club. They join a star-studded line up of celebrity talent, including Aisling Bea, comedian and actress (This Way UpLiving With Yourself); Alexander Armstrong, Hey Duggee narrator, and presenter (Armstrong & Miller).  

Other talent to soon join the Hey Duggee Read-Along series will be Colin McFarlane, actor (The Dark Knight TrilogyUlysses); Nick Mohammed, actor and comedian (Ted LassoStath Lets Flats). 

Rob Delaney said: “My family and I have been fans of Hey Duggee for years. We love Duggee and all the Squirrels and seeing what adventures they get up to. I’m very excited to be a part of the family!”.
