Designer Debra Valencia Releases Two New Craft Books
Designer Debra Valencia has announced the releases of her 10th and 11th craft books for publisher Leisure Arts. Both titles are available on Amazon, the Leisure Arts website and craft retailers.
“Modern Art Stitching: 22 Designs for the Modern Aesthetic” is a book of cross stitch projects featuring Debra’s colorful geometric modernist artwork. Imagine Museum of Modern Art, Bauhaus and Mid-Century Modern inspired designs translated into cross stitch projects ranging from accessories to home décor. Included are step-by-step instructions and charts for 22 projects including eyeglass case, tea towels, pillows, coasters, frames, hoops and more. The book is a soft cover with 48 full color pages.
“From the Garden: 14 Floral Projects for Home and Fashion” is a book for cross stitch featuring Debra’s contemporary floral designs. Pulling inspiration from her own garden, she provides an array of charming projects with birds, butterflies and monograms. Included are step-by-step instructions and charts for 14 projects including jewelry set, denim jeans, tea towels, gardening apron, frames, hoops and more. The book is a soft cover with 56 full color pages.
