Pocket.Watch and Major League Baseball Announce Series

Pocket.watch and Major League Baseball, the most historic professional sports league in the US, have announced the premiere of Ballpark Blast! The Series. Co-produced by pocket.watch and MLB Studios, Major League Baseball’s award-winning multi-platform production label, this marks the first-ever full season of “Ballpark Blast!,” a new 10-episode series set to debut September 5 on Hulu and pocket.watch’s SVOD Ryan and Friends Plus, followed by Roku Channel, and MLB’s owned-and-operated platforms.

Building on the second year of the pocket.watch x MLB Studios partnership and following the fan-favorite 2024 ‘“Ballpark Blast!” special, the series brings 10x the action with kid creators and families covering MLB’s biggest events around the world. The series delivers a mix of behind-the-scenes stadium access, interactive challenges, musical performances and creator-led adventures, reimagining the thrill of baseball for a new generation. Some highlights from the season will include Ryan’s World traveling to Japan for the Tokyo Series with the Dodgers and Cubs, Toys and Colors going on a wild adventure from the San Diego Zoo to Petco Park with the Padres, and Tiger-Trivia with My PB and J hosted by Detroit Tigers pitcher Will Vest.

The series stars pocket.watch kids and family creators with a collective 242 million subscribers across their channels. These include Ryan’s World, Hudson’s Playground, Toys and Colors, Kamdenboys & Kyraboo, Kaven Adventures, KidCity, My PB and J, Papa Jake, Wilson World, Combo Panda, HungryFAM, and Jonathan Warren the Dog. Each creator experiences once-in-a-lifetime ballpark adventures around the world with teams including the Tigers, Cubs, Dodgers, Mets, Diamondbacks, Astros, Giants, Padres, Cardinals, and Blue Jays.

Major League Baseball is the most-attended league by families with children at home in the US based on Nielsen Scarborough and MRI-Simmons. In addition, baseball and softball combine to have the highest participation among 6-12 year olds of any sport in the United States according to SFIA.


In addition to the series, MLB and pocket.watch are teaming up with Universal Music Group to release Ballpark Blast: Baseball Beats, a companion album featuring original music from the show alongside classic baseball anthems. The album, available everywhere music is streamed, includes Grammy Award-winning family Wilson World’s live performance from Chase Field in Arizona,  as well as tracks from creators The Stella Show, Lively Lewis, My PB and J, and Kaven Adventures.
