
Baby Shark in Partnership with NYC Ferry to Celebrate 10th

The Pinkfong Company, the global entertainment company behind Baby Shark, has announced a partnership with NYC Ferry to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Baby Shark with New York families.
On August 30, Baby Shark will make waves aboard NYC Ferry’s Astoria route, with select departures between 11:00 AM and 2:45 PM, marking the first-ever Baby Shark–themed ferry activation in the U.S. This scenic route travels along the East River and connects neighborhoods from Manhattan’s Upper East Side to Astoria in Queens and south to Wall Street in Manhattan, offering stunning views of the New York City skyline.
Against this iconic backdrop, families can enjoy a full day of fin-tastic fun — from dancing along to Pinkfong and Baby Shark music, to photo opportunities with the characters, plus special giveaways to take the memories home. Tickets are required to board NYC Ferry and can be purchased via the NYC Ferry app or at ticket vending machines located at each landing. Ferry schedules are available on the NYC Ferry website and app, with event updates shared on NYC Ferry’s social media channels.
NYC Ferry’s fleet of 38 vessels were named by second graders from across the city, including one named “Cyclone Shark.” The ferry fleet of locally named vessels symbolizes connecting New Yorkers and visitors from diverse communities — a message that resonates with Baby Shark’s mission of bringing families together through music and joy.

As part of ongoing initiatives to connect families across North America through creative content and engaging experiences, the company recently launched Baby Shark Boulevard, a new YouTube series that kicked off in New York City. In the series, Baby Shark explores the city’s most iconic landmarks — from Central Park to Times Square — and even takes a ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty, delighting fans through exciting games.
