KENNEDY PUBLISHING PARTNERS WITH MATTEL TO PUBLISH MONSTER HIGH MAGAZINE

The iconic brand of Monster High celebrates inclusiveness and individuality with a relatable cast of characters who are fun, flawed and fearless. Ranked as the number one doll property at its launch, Monster High has a dedicated following. The magazine gives fans the opportunity to explore this unique world with themed activities, stories, crafts and more.
Perfect for inspiring creativity, the magazine is filled with fangtastic puzzles, clawsome colouring and a comic based on the popular animated series to immerse readers in the Monster High world. Each issue also includes collectable posters and a cut-out paper doll to bring the brand to life.
The acquisition of the magazine continues Kennedy Publishing’s collaboration with Mattel, as it publishes the standalone magazines for the popular properties, Barbie and Fireman Sam.
“We’re thrilled to be publishing the official Monster High magazine from July, further strengthening our longstanding partnership with Mattel,” says Sophie Rowlands, Licensing Director. “Monster High is a fun, iconic brand with a passionate fanbase, and we’re excited to bring its unique world to life for readers.”
“We’re delighted to expand our collaboration with Kennedy Publishing. At Mattel, publishing is a powerful tool to extend storytelling and deepen emotional connections with our brands – and Monster High is a perfect example. It’s a brand that champions individuality, self-expression, and inclusivity, and the magazine brings these values to life in a way that is fun, accessible, and creative,” says Claudia Lucarella, Head of Publishing EMEA, Mattel. “With this launch, we’re offering fans a new way to immerse themselves in the world of Monster High through engaging content, all inspired by the rich universe of the animated series and beyond. As we continue to build out our publishing ecosystem across EMEA, partnerships like this allow us to create meaningful touchpoints that inspire young readers and celebrate the power of play through storytelling.”
The first issue is on sale 9th July 2025 and will be available at all key retailers for £6.99, with a new issue every five weeks.
