London Studio artists win two Gift of the Year awards

Art licensing and design company The London Studio has announced that Fox Under The Moon and Nicole Elders, two members of its Artists Collective, a community that brings together, promotes and collaborates with some of the world’s most exciting independent artists, have been winners in the Gift of the Year awards.

Fox Under The Moon won the Best Health, Wellbeing and Accessible Gift Product category for its  Thoughts and Feelings Collection for Children: Help Me Feel OK, a journal and card set for kids aged 3-11. This set of affirmation and emotion cards has been crafted to boost children’s self-esteem and confidence, inviting them to share and discuss their emotions.

The cards features captivating artwork from Stacey McNeill’s One Step At A Time series – part of her Fox Under The Moon artwork, which is inspired by the simplicity of everyday life, and the complicated emotions that go with it – as seen through the eyes of an inquisitive fox and the wise old moon.

The series has inspired books, gifts, cards, stationery and more, available at hundreds of stockists across the UK and online. A new book, Fox Under the Moon: Seasons of Comfort and Hope will be published in October 2025.

Underlining the diversity of styles and approaches supported by the London Studio is the winner of the Best Heritage Gift product: William Shakespeare – Master of Insults. This giftware range celebrates William Shakespeare in all his creative insulting genius, featuring many of his most powerful and thought-provoking insults from his greatest plays and sonnets.

Handwritten in calligraphy, these designs were created exclusively for the Royal Shakespeare Company by Nicole Elders and feature on a range of giftware, including drinks bottles, notebooks, tote bags, t-shirts and pens.

Nicole Elders is a talented calligrapher who has turned her skill into a successful business, creating a range of beautiful cards and stationery stocked all over the UK and available online.

The Gift of the Year awards are the most highly respected accolades in the gift industry aimed at recognising the best new products, talent and inspiration in our industry each year. They are organised by the Giftware Association, a national trade representative body, and the only UK trade association serving the gift and home industry.

Soula Zavacopoulos, founder and director of The London Studio, says: “It’s a tribute to the talent and creativity of the artists we support that these two Gift of the Year winners approach design in completely different ways, but both stand out for originality, skill and, of course, appeal to the gift-buying public. Our warmest congratulations to Stacey and Nicole on their well-deserved wins.”
