Christmas Comes to Moominvalley Returns this Season

Moomin Characters and Jacksons Lane announce that tickets are now on sale for the return of the box office hit, Christmas Comes to Moominvalley, which is returning to Jacksons Lane this Christmas.

The production, which was performed for nearly 8000 people last year, brings together acrobatics and juggling for a unique adaptation of Tove Jansson’s classic tale, The Fir Tree. Commissioned for the 80th anniversary of The Moomins, this show became a standout success as part of Jacksons Lane’s 50th birthday programme. Jacksons Lane also continues to be the UK’s leading venue for presenting Finnish work.

This returning production is adapted and directed by Kaveh Rahnama and the cast will be announced this summer.

Christmas Comes to Moominvalley will return to Jacksons Lane on 5th December 2025, with press night on 12th December, and runs until 4th January 2026.

Roleff Kråkström, Managing Director at Moomin Characters, commented, “Last year’s production of Christmas Comes to Moominvalley was an incredible success, and we are thrilled to see it return to Jacksons Lane. As we continue to celebrate 80 years of the Moomins, it’s a joy to share this unique adaptation of The Fir Tree with even more audiences.”

Jacksons Lane Artistic Director, Adrian Berry, added, “Following the huge demand for last year’s production, we are thrilled to welcome back this magical show that captured the hearts of our audiences.”
